Management asked both our department and Property Accounting for the same information, and PA told them that it would take them two days to assemble it. We got it for them in 20 minutes. A bit of a Pyrrhic victory, though, as the information is going to be used to blow up the Consulting company that I work for. *grimaces in exactly the same way that Richard Widmark did in The Long Ships* My only hope in staying with this job is the main company's realization that we do what we do very efficiently with a fraction of the personnel (3 people vs. 20) of the Purchasing department that they have. But still, a longshot at best.
