I'm at a low ebb these days. And of course I picked now to compete in my first 5K race (tomorrow night actually), and my timing could have been better. I have been dead on my feet lately, which does not exactly lend itself to superior athletic endeavour. But I will do it. Saturday I ran about half of the 6.8 mile Impoundment trail at the Heinz NWR.
