Feeling physically lousy today, and my mood is not helped by having to do the annual forced-volunteerism thing tomorrow. I picked a place in Germantown so I can hop over to the store after I get out of there. I am *not* looking forward to this nonsense, and neither does anyone else in the company I've talked to: when you don't know how much longer you'll be keeping your job, how can you be enthusiastic being an "ambassador" for the people you work for? Anyway, I will have an excuse if I want to leave early.
